Pictures

Here are a few better pictures. Thanks to Aunt Amy (and Aunt Linda's fancy camera). I really do have the best son though. We had a talk about needing sleep last night because the previous two nights he thought it was party time and only slept about 2 hours the whole night. I am pleased to say that last night I slept over 6 hours (not in a row, but it was a definite improvement and I would have been worried had he slept that long at one time). What an obedient boy!

...and Spencer makes three!

He's a boy. He's adorable. He's loved and spoiled by everyone.
First Picture of Baby Boy Anderson

We are pleased to introduce Spencer Erik, our May Day baby. He was 7 lbs 6 oz (yes I know bigger than you thought, no I don't know where I was hiding him at, probably in my ribcage) and 20 inches long.

We really appreciate all the prayers in our behalf. He is healthy. Momma is doing well and getting used to never sleeping. Dad is so good with his little boy and being such a good helper.

We are really blessed that everything went as well as it did with all the things that could have gone wrong. I didn't have to have a c-section like they thought, Spencer did well even though it was a really long time in getting him here, and Nathan survived not one but two nights sleeping on the chair in labor and delivery. He put his foot down though when they wanted us to stay another night, so the nurse was nice enough to arrange for us to check out at practically the middle of the night. I must say probably the most traumatic part about the whole ordeal was the awful beds. My tailbone has still not recovered.
Being Discharged at 11 pm
We are also really grateful that he didn't have to wait a long time to be named. We are notoriously bad decision makers and were really worried about how important this one was. He only went a few hours without a name. Spencer just seemed to fit. We love our little tiny and are excited for this journey.
